So, something just hit me the other day. Doctor Who has a bad habit of breaking my heart every season finale..soooo..Should I be dreading this Saturday or be as excited as I am now.
Doctor Who. Breaking my heart since 1963 or since 1983. Whichever sound catchy-er.
In other news, by vid has almost 1,000 views! Thanks to all who viewed and rated it. If you're feeling giving today, go over there and give me a couple more views. Just a suggestion. Thanks again, guys!
Anyway, I'm goofing off when I should be working. I'm done now.

Help Holly win a MacBook
I’m entering one of my videos in a contest on youtube. I’m 95% sure that what I do is acceptable. The thing is that in order for my video to even be considered it needs to be one of the top ten in the bunch with the most views (I think the reigning leader is at about 2,000 views).
The Link to my video is Here:

You don’t even have to watch it but I would be eternally grateful if you’d just skip over there once, and maybe a few more times if you want to. Please, watch it all the way through if you want (I must warn you, it’s to Stargate Atlantis which means it’s sci-fi..soo yea), give me a comment or a rating. That would be fantastic!
Thanks so much guys! | | |

So I pretty much watched the best episode of Doctor Who ever last night. It was so good that it made me completely forget about how awesome Sylar is and how pretty Peter and Mohinder are. For a few hours the only things swimming in my head was Doctor Who, the Tardis, Captain Jack... Wait..Those things are always swimming in my head. WELL, they were the ONLY things in there. Lets put it that way.
I just can’t believe how continuously good the writers on that show are. I was screaming and grabbing the computer screen. So. Very. Good.
I wish I could go on but I don’t want to give anything away. It’s that good.

So I ordered this book through inter-library loan called 'The Truth is Out There.' I like to read up on the different dimensions of sci-fi television and this one is subtitled: 'Christian Faith and the Classics of TV Science Fiction.'
I haven't started it yet but I had some thoughts on it. What makes this book so neat is that it not only covers The X-Files and Star Trek but Doctor Who as well. Sometimes Dr. Who is overlooked in American sci-fi reviews even though, technically, it's the longest running science fiction ever. (Stargate Sg-1 longest running American and with the same cast though.)
It also covers the Twilight Zone, The Prisoner (which I hear is going to be redone here soon with the possibility of Christopher Eccleston as the lead character but that was a while ago..could've fallen through), and Babylon 5 (not a favorite at all).
I say all this because while we were watching X-Files last night we noticed how compellingly Christian some of the dialog was. I especially liked this exchange:
CIGARETTE-SMOKING MAN: It doesn't matter, most of them have ceased to believe in God.
SMITH: Why?
CIGARETTE-SMOKING MAN: Because God presents them with no miracles to earn their faith.
SMITH: You think when men ceases to believe in miracles, he rejects God?
I just loved Jeremiah Smith's response to Cancer Man (your regular devil in disguise). Love it.
The book looks good but just by browsing through it I saw some errors. Like saying the only two deceased Doctors were Hartnell and Troughton. Sadly, Pertwee has not been with us for over ten years. I like to see what other discrepancies I'll find. Heh.
I have to give him a thumbs up for dedicating the book to James Doohan. Love ya, Scotty.

I know that my trekkie friends are few and far between but this is too cool.
Go here and vote for Zachary Quinto as Spock.
He's winning already which is the coolest thing.
Of course this poll is just for fun but wouldn't it be awesome if Zach played Spock!?
He'd be amazing! He's such a talented actor.
FYI- Zach is from Heroes.
